About The Midland
The Midland is a bobby dazzler of a local pub & restaurant - if do we say so ourselves - famous for its freshly cooked food, corking wines and cask-ales and buzzing bar. Our open fire keeps the place cosy in the cold months, while in the summer we crack open our balcony doors, so you can dine in style overlooking the river Goyt.
All change!
Here's a bit of pub trivia for you. Originally the Hare and Hounds, the pub was re-named The Midland in 1876 to mark the arrival of the Midland Railway in Marple.
